This is a live hitting league born from the need for real reps, raw competition, and creative content that puts the player back in the spotlight, not the tech. Step up to the plate and prove you are a Tough At Bat!
League Origin
The idea for Tough at Bats, live hitting league started years ago in an organic way. Every year in the DMV, athletes were struggling to get ready for the high school season. Pitchers were always ahead of hitters because hitters just hadn’t seen many pitches. Not anymore! The first event was hosted as live at bats in 2023 at Baltimore Urban Baseball Association (BUBA) with 10 athletes. It was simply to help those 10 athletes prepare for the upcoming season.
Fast forward to 2025, and it had grown to 28 athletes, including multiple Division 1 commits and over 10 college baseball commits ready to pull up and compete. Best on Best.
That night led to another live at bats, which took place two weeks later, featuring the top performers from the previous event but with a twist. An exclusive, invite-only night for the best high school players in the DMV to come together and compete. This event was late-night “Scary Hours” version. No concern for rankings, spin rates, exit velo, or scouts. Just real players, locked in, there to sharpen their game.
This all led to the birth of Tough at Bats, a live at-bats league created to help high school baseball players prepare for the season. It gives them a chance to come in and compete. We remove the gadgets and systems and get back to the core of what baseball is all about: getting outs and getting hits. This league is built on competition, high energy, live reps, and dope content.
